Darby Doors, headquartered in Florence, Alabama, began as R.G. Darby Company, Inc. in 1983. In 2012, it rebranded as Darby Doors, Inc., and later transitioned to Darby Doors in 2016. Now part of US LBM, Darby Doors specializes in manufacturing, distributing, and selling doors, millwork, hardware, bath accessories, and other specialty building products.

With a daily capacity to pre-hang up to 2,000 doors, Darby Doors primarily serves the multi-family construction sector, working directly with contractors and developers. The addition of our hollow metal door and frame facility in 2000 has expanded our service offerings even further.

A large portion of our products are delivered factory-direct to job sites. Door units and moldings are transported via Darby trailers, which can be unloaded or left on-site as needed. Exterior doors, along with interior doors and moldings, are delivered in truckload quantities, arranged to fit your schedule.

Our sister company, Total Trim (formerly Total Trim, Inc., founded in 1991), provides turn-key project services for our customers. Darby Doors supplies the materials, such as metal doors and frames, pre-hung exterior and interior doors, windows, moldings, builders’ hardware, bath accessories, mirrors, shelving, toilet partitions, mailboxes, and fire extinguishers. Once an order is placed, Total Trim’s professionals handle the on-site installation, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring a hassle-free experience.

Stuart Sockwell

Stuart Sockwell, President and General Manager of Darby Doors, holds a B.A. from David Lipscomb College and an M.A. from the University of Alabama. With a tenure at Darby Doors dating back to 1993, Stuart has been a cornerstone of the company’s leadership and success.

Robert Tyree

Robert Tyree, Vice President of Finance at Darby Doors, holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of North Alabama. His career with Darby Doors spans decades, having joined the company in 1986 and has remained a vital part of the team ever since.

Lance Howard

Lance Howard, Vice President of Sales at Darby Doors, earned a B.A. from the University of Mississippi. He joined the company in 2005 and has been instrumental in driving sales and building strong client relationships throughout his tenure.

Jeff Williams

Jeff Williams, Vice President of Field Operations at Darby Doors, attended Olivet Nazarene University. Since joining the company in 1999, he has played a key role in ensuring operational excellence.
